A diving school in Rasdhoo island of Alifu Alifu atoll was razed by a fire late Tuesday night.

According to an official from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), the fire was reported at around 2:50 am on Tuesday, and a fire and rescue team was immediately dispatched to the scene.

MNDF said that their fire was quelled about an hour later, around 3:35 am.

"Rasdhoo Scuba" was destroyed in the fire.
