Island Aviations' Maldivian has announced that it is to purchase a Bombardier Dash-08 aircraft, which is manufactured by Canada's Bombardier Aerospace.
The national airline said that it will be acquiring the Dash-08's 300 series, which has up to 50 seats.
The aircraft in question is to be brought from Switzerland.
The airline began seaplane services in 2014, and its seaplane fleet has a total of 9 aircrafts.
