A parliament sitting is scheduled for Monday, with just one item on its agenda.
At the sixth sitting of its final session for 2017, the parliament's Committee on National Security will give out its report on implementing the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol.
Afterwards, members will be allowed to deliberate on the report, before taking a vote regarding the amendment.
Back in October, President Abdulla Yameen decided to partake in the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, as advised by his cabinet. The Amendment endorses to reduce the production and consumption of HFCs.
While the last session of parliament commenced in early October, parliament has convened just five times. The session will end in November.
