Dhiggaru Constituency MP Ahmed Faris Maumoon has been shifted back home. 

The Parliamentarian who had been serving an indefinite detention since his arrest in July, was transferred to his residence, Maafannu Snow Rose at around 3.40pm on Wednesday. 

Speaking to RaajjeMV Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) information officer Ahmed Luqman confirmed the transfer. He added that MP Faris was transferred back home as his jail unit was to undergo repairs and said MP Faris will be transferred back once the repairs are completed.
