The four remanded on the deaths of two individuals in Hulhumale’ have been released.
Ahmed Haameen (21) and Fathimath Sama (18) passed away in Hulhumale’ under suspicious circumstances on September 28th. Three men and a woman were arrested in connection to the deaths.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, media official for Maldives Police Service (MPS) confirmed the release. He however, refused to divulge additional information as the case was under investigation.
RaajjeMV understands they were released late on Saturday. They were released before the 15-day remand issued on them had expired.
Twelve accusations had been made on the four, including drug possession. MPS said party drugs were found in the vicinity where the duo had passed away.
