Parts of capital city Malé have experienced a power outage on Tuesday, reportedly caused by a generator failure.
The State Electricity Company (STELCO) announced that it is working to resolve the issue.
Some areas of Male is experiencing power interruption due to power generator failure. We are working to restore power as soon as possible.

An official form the company said that the repairment process may result in sporadic outages in parts of the city power is currently available to.
A similar generator failure had caused power outages last week as well.
On Friday, 22nd September, nearly the entirety of Malé City had experienced a power outage that lasted several hours.
