One hundred and three schools across the Maldives on Monday began National Assessment.
Under the assessments, students from schools between grades 4 and 7 will be tested on Dhivehi, English and Maths.
Education Ministry stated that 6,407 students from 103 schools will partake in the assessment.
The assessment will review students on how much of the curriculum they were thorough on and analysis on the reasons that impact students’ results and achievement.
Education Ministry says the results of the assessment and study will be used to design Ministry policies and how to strengthen education and knowledge.
Education Ministry’s Quality Assurance Department had conducted these assessments in 2015 and 2016 and had published the details.
The assessment will be carried out until October 4th.
