The public health insurance scheme Aasandha has opened its first regional office in an outer lying island in Kulhudhuffushi of Haa Dhaal Atoll.

This office was inaugurated on Sunday by Ali Usaid, the deputy Managing Director of the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital.

Usaid said that the establishment of such an office in the region is a notable development in their health sector.

Usaid further said that he believes the new office would bolster Aasandha’s service in the region as well.

Aasandha’s Assistant General Manager Aiminath Zeeniya had recited a message from Managing Director Hassan Ali.

“This is a tremendous development for the northern region and it will, without a doubt, greatly benefit residents in Kulhudhuffushi” Ziyath’s message said.

Aasandha’s operations in the region will henceforth be carried out by the newly opened office in Kulhudhuffushi, according to Managing Director Ziyath’s message.

 All the services available at Aasandha’s headquarters in capital city Malé will be available through this office.
