The duo who passed away in Hulhumale’ on Thursday night have been laid to rest.

Ahmed Haameen (22-year-old) and Fathimath Sama (18-year-old) were laid to rest on Friday evening.

Four close friends were arrested from a room in a guesthouse in Hulhumale’, in connection to the case. Three of the arrestees were men and the fourth was a woman.

Police media official reported that party drugs were found in the area where the deaths had occurred. The official also confirmed that the case was under investigation but had refused to divulge additional details.
