A Maldivian pilgrim who went missing on Friday, has been found.
Abdul Latheef, native to Naifaru island of Lhaviyani Naifaru, was found in Mecca.
Senior editor at "Mihaaru,' Ahmed Abdulla Saeed, who is with the pilgrims, said that he was found by a group belonging to the Maldives Hajj Corporation, who were on their way to Mecca.
While Abdul Latheef seemed to be of sound health, he was taken to a hospital for a check-up.
Two Maldivian pilgrims had gone missing this year; 64-year-old Ameena Hassan was found near Kuwait Masjid, Mina, on Saturday.
Both individuals belonged to the state-run, Maldives Hajj Corporation.
While 1,300 Maldivians traveled to Mecca, Saudi Arabia to take part in the annual Hajj pilgrimage, most of them had gone with Hajj Corporation.
