A body has been discovered in Dhaandhoo island of Gaaf Alif atoll.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) confirmed that they received a report of a body found on the streets of the island on Saturday, at around 08:10am.
Ahmed Abdullah, 33 was found lying on the street, west of the island’s Fenaka Branch.
The police institution revealed that when he was taken to the health center, they were informed by the center that he was already dead.
Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the case.
