Guraidhoo has won their match against Huraa in the Ninety Plus Gold Cup, with Naifaru securing a win against Maafushi.
Guraidhoo won the Group C match against Huraa on Saturday evening with a score of 3 – 1.
Guraidhoo took the lead by scoring the first goal of the match. Imhaadh Abdul Gayoom gave Guraidhoo the lead in the 39th minute of the first half. Guraidhoo scored a second goal in the first half, expanding their lead and taking control of the game. The winning team’s second goal was scored by Ishaf Ahmed Firaq.
Guraidhoo scored their third goal through Imhad in the 57th minute early in the second half.
After Guraidhoo scored three goals, Huraa managed to score their only goal of the match. Mohamed Thasmeen scored for Huraa in the 73rd minute.
Naifaru won their Group D match against Maafushi on Saturday night with a score of 1 – 0.
Naifaru scored their goal in the second half. 13 minutes into the second half, Imran Mohamed gave Naifaru the lead. Maafushi also made significant efforts to score, creating several opportunities.
Guraidhoo has secured the top spot in Group C with this win, while Addu is in second place. Kurendhoo is in third place and Huraa falls short at the bottom of the group. In Group D, Naifaru is in first place.
