Eve Clinic, a trusted healthcare provider for many Maldivians, has unveiled a new outlet in the capital, Malé City.
The clinic was opened on Saturday evening in the former West Park area.
The new outlet, "Eve Clinic West Park", was opened by Minister of Health Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Nazim said that in other countries, the health sector progresses with significant contributions from private individuals.
Highlighting President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's policy to maximize opportunities for private service providers within the legal framework, the minister emphasized that no industry could thrive without the involvement of the private sector.
He expressed his honor in opening the new 'Eve Clinic' outlet, noting that 'Eve' is well-known for its attentive and high-quality service.
Son of Eve Clinic's Chairman Hussain Mohamed Fulhu, Dr. Jaufar also took the podium at the inauguration event, noting that with the inauguration of the new outlet, Eve Clinic's services would expand.
He described the clinic as a source of hope and thanked Eve’s Chairman for his encouragement.
He went on to express hope that resources would double, and services would boost, with the opening of the new outlet.
Highlighting that the new outlet carries the purpose of reducing queues for doctor consultations, Dr. Jaufar acknowledged the significant role played by Eve Clinic's doctors and staff and extended gratitude to them for their invaluable services.
Dr. Jaufar went on to stress that there are several challenges in sustainably providing premium services at affordable prices.
Eve Clinic offers a range of services, including treatment for heart, lung, and kidney diseases, dental care, hormonal disorders, urinary system conditions, mental health issues, radiography and ultrasound scans, internal medicine, counseling, ENT disorders, general illnesses as well as orthopedic conditions.
