Maldives Police Service (MPS) has shared the latest findings of the investigation into the murder of Mohamed Anas with his family.
In a tweet posted via its official account on Wednesday, MPS said that the Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef met with the father of the murdered 25-year-old "to inform him about the latest findings" in the investigation.
While the meeting was held at Shaheed Hussain Adam Building, police did not reveal further details.

Anas, native to Meedhoo island of Raa atoll, was stabbed to death by a group of masked assailants in the capital Malé City on July 31.
His family has said that they will continue to seek justice for Anas until "all those involved are caught," calling on authorities to expedite the investigation.
The family, who has said that they have confidence in the police, also said that they are willing to cooperate with the police in the investigation.
Police have revealed that 12 suspects have been apprehended in connection to Anas' murder, including those that were actively involved in the murder
