A man has been found dead inside a house in the congested capital, Malé City.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the body was discovered inside a room on the third floor of a house in Maafannu-ward of the capital city and reported to the police at around 11:33pm on Tuesday.
Discovered dead was a 57-year-old Maldivian man.
A team of police officers was dispatched to the scene to be active in the area, not long after.
Further details have not been disclosed by the authorities.
