Maalegan Sports Club has been crowned the champions of the Fuvahmulah City Council Futsal Tournament.
Maalegan Sports Club went head-to-head with Maadhadu Sports Club in the finals.
The final ended with Maalegan winning with a score of 3 – 0.
The final match played in Fuvahmulah City on Thursday saw Ali Shamaal Abdulla, Mohamed Azzam and Ismail Aleef scored for the winning team.
Tholal Hassan was awarded Best Player of the match.
Mohamed Naaish Ibrahim won the most promising player of the tournament and the best coach was won by the champion team’s Abdul Rauf Yoosuf.
Ali Shamaal Abdulla, Ayaz Ahmed, Abdulla Shafiu, Ahmed Mahin Mohamed and Ibrahim Mahudhee Hussain were named the top five players of the tournament.
Ali Shamaal Abdulla was crowned the Futsal ‘King’ of Fuvahmulah City.
