The four Members of Parliament who had been stripped of their Parliament seats have filed their case with Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The Parliament Members of the joint opposition in a press conference held in Maafannu Kunooz on Firday, reported that the case had been filed in IPU.
Following the Supreme Court ruling on floor crossing, Elections Commission had stripped Thulusdhoo Constituency Member of Parliament Mohamed Waheed Ibrahim, Madduvvari Constituency MP Mohamed Ameeth, Dhihdhoo Constituency MP Abdul Latheef Mohamed and Vilingili Constituency MP Saud Hussain from their seats. The Commission had also announced by-elections for these Constituencies.
The case had also been filed with the Supreme Court.
