Minister of State for External Affairs of India, V. Muraleedharan is in the Maldives on an official visit.
Upon his arrival at Velana International Airport (VIA) on Saturday afternoon, the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs was received by senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Indian Minister of State for External Affairs is scheduled to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of Gan International Airport Development Project and Addu Reclamation Project, facilitated under Indian Line of Credit as part of his visit.
Further, he will be paying a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid during the brief visit.
A ceremony will be held at the foreign ministry to exchange multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Maldives and India as part of the Indian state minister’s visit.
State Minister Muraleedharan is also scheduled to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the three tourism zones developed under the High Impact Community Development Project in Feydhoo, Hithadhoo and Hulhudhoo districts of southernmost Addu City.
