Dr. Azeema Adam, Governor of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has denied the rumors that she is to offer her resignation.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, Dr. Azeema denied the rumors.

Various local media sources had reported that she is to tender her resignation and that MMA senior staff was aware of her imminent resignation.

‘I have not made any decision of that nature, have not thought of that or submitted a letter to that effect,’ she said.

This is not the first time rumors of her resignation had surfaced.
