Ihavandhoo Constituency MP Mohamed Abdullah has met former President Mohamed Nasheed in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Following the meeting, Nasheed tweeted that he was assured of the Parliamentarians courage and determination.

The Ihavandhoo MP had signed the no confidence motion on Speaker Abdullah Maseeh, in addition to 10 MPs from PPM and 35 opposition MPs. More MPs from the Government are expected to join the opposition in the coming days.
The former President arrived in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Wednesday morning. He has been living in self-imposed exile. He was greeted on arrival by MPD administration's Foreign Minister Ahmed Naseem, MDP International Spokesperson Hamid Abdul Ghafoor and MDP National Congress Member Umar Abdul Razzaq.
No details of the trip had been made public, but it is expected that the former President will meet diplomats of foreign mission and political figures.
The visit comes amid an opposition led no confidence motion on Parliament Speaker Abdullah Maseeh.
