Dhiraagu has signed to become the exclusive Digital Partner of Handball Maldives.

The telecom giant revealed this in a statement issued on Thursday.

As such, the telecom provider signed an agreement with Handball Maldives to become the exclusive Digital Partner of the sport for the ongoing new year.

The company has been supporting various initiatives, enabling opportunities for young people to ‘take on tomorrow’.

Dhiraagu revealed that the key focus of their CSR strategy is to empower the young people.

Through this partnership with Handball Maldives, the telecom provider will be supporting the local sporting community to empower youth and develop more skilled handball players across the archipelago nation.

Assistant Manager Public Relations at Dhiraagu, Jaishan Hameed expressed delight to be the Digital Partner of handball for 2023.

He noted that handball has rapidly become a well-loved and widely played sport across the country.

Jaishan added that Dhiraagu hopes to assist in elevating it even further, together with Handball Maldives.

Further speaking regarding the partnership, President of Handball Maldives Ahmed Mujthaba highlighted that they look forward to working with the telecom provider to further promote handball in the Maldives and to build players to continue representing Maldives at an international level.

The Handball Maldives President also extended warm gratitude to Dhiraagu for their support towards the development of the sport in the island nation.

Through sports and recreation, the telecom provider continues to support organizations and advocate for projects to strengthen communities nationwide.
