Maldives Police Service (MPS) has launched a manhunt for an individual wanted in connection with an ongoing probe.
The police institution revealed that Abdulla Asif, 26 and native to Velidhoo island in Noonu atoll, is wanted in connection with a case submitted to the Lhaviyani atoll Hinnavaru Police Station.
The institution’s efforts to locate the man have been to no avail so far.
The public has been urged to contact the Hinnavaru Police Station through 9792239 if they attain any information regarding the wanted individual.
The police institution took the opportunity to express gratitude for the public support and assistance extended in such cases.
