The Criminal Court has remanded two suspects arrested for the brutal murder of blogger Yameen Rasheed by 15 days.
The court remanded Mohamed Dhifran, the first individual arrested for the crime, along with another on Monday.
The police have arrested a total of seven people in the case, this includes a lawyer representing the suspects.
Ali Shah was moved to house arrest earlier this week.
The police announced in a tweet that Ali Shah had been arrested from his home for said obstruction of the police investigation.
However, they had not revealed any details about the nature of the obstruction.

At around 02:56 am on Sunday, Yameen Rasheed, who was vocal about several political and social issues, was found in the stairwell of his home with over 20 stab wounds to his chest, neck, and head.
