Maldives Trade Union has appointed two Vice Presidents and a Parliament representative.
A statement released by the Union stated that the decision was reached by the full majority of the Union in a meeting held on Tuesday.
State Trading Organization’s former Managing Director Adam Azim and Shiyam Mohamed were appointed as Vice Presidents. Madduvaree Constituency Parliamentarian Mohamed Ameeth was appointed as Parliament representative of the Union.
Maldives Trade Union said that MP Ameeth will seek solutions to the issues facing businesses from the Parliament.
