Should an emergency arise for critical patients, IGMH will proceed with the required treatment without waiting for the Covid-19 test results, after implementing the required safety measures, said the hospital.

As such, two patients who were seeking treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital as well as four staff members tested positive for the infection and have been transferred to the 11th floor of Dharumavantha Hospital since.
