Ooreddo launched the first ever digital center in the capital, during March

Ooredoo Maldives has established new digital centers across islands in three different atolls.

The digital centers were opened in Kulhudhuffushi City in Haa Dhaal atoll, Fuvahmulah City and Thinadhoo island in Gaaf Dhaal atoll and the reveal was made by the telecommunications giant on Thursday.

Customers will be able to recharge, pay their Ooredoo bills and process cash-ins at these centers which operate on a round-the-clock basis.

According to the telecom giant, the kiosks provide a number of services to the people on a round-the-clock basis throughout the week.

These kiosks provides access to these services, 24/7:

  • Bill payments
  • Recharge
  • m-Faisaa cash-in services

The company’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Hussain Niyaz revealed that the company is always working to amplify customer experience through convenient and digital technology. Niyaz added that technology plays a great role in a society that is heading towards a new normal due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a special ceremony during March, Ooredoo inaugurated the first-ever digital center in Malé City, which was followed up by a second one in Hulhumalé.

According to Ooredoo, these centers greatly simplify customer experience and provides a convenient and tech-driven solution for their needs.

With this development, customers have access to SIM cards at any time of the day and instantly gain access to the multitude of innovative services being provided by the telecom giant.

These centers are part of the company’s efforts to implement its vision of a digital Maldives to provide more innovative solutions for customers.
