The lease agreement for the Custom's South Regional Head Office in Addu City has been signed.

During a special ceremony held on Friday, the agreement was signed by Commissioner of Customs Abdulla Shareef on behalf of Maldives Customs, and Mayor Abdulla Sodhiq (Sobe) on behalf of Addu City Council.

The plot to construct the Custom's South Regional Head Office is located in Maradhoo ward of Addu City.

As such, a new customs building is set to be constructed in Gan ward of Addu City as well, for which the agreement signing with Addu International Airport will be held on Saturday, revealed Customs.
