The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid, has left for Rabat, the capital city of the Kingdom of Morocco on an Official Visit today.
This trip is the first visit by a Maldives Foreign Minister to the Kingdom of Morocco.
The minister is set to meet his counterpart, His Excellency Nasser Bourita and other senior officials of the Moroccan Government to hold discussions on bilateral ties between Maldives and Morocco. Furthermore, the minister is slated to sign multiple agreements during his visit as well.
In addition to Minister Shahid, the Maldivian delegation was represented by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Khaleel, Ambassador of Maldives to UAE, Dr. Hussain Niyaaz, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Shiaan and Assistant Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Moomina Ibrahim.
